Information technology has changed the entire look of the world. The world now seems to be governed only by information technology. Modern world has replaced old modes of recording and storing data.In the past data was keep in records by hand but today it is stored, study and manipulated by computers. To store ,study, retrieve and manipulating data on the computers is called information technology. It is used for bigger purposes such as for business concerned. Pakistan also has its well-established information technology department. The ministry which control the complete activity of information and technology is ministry of information and technology of Pakistan.
Through the information and technology now, it is very easy to find out the place and location of every person. Keeping records through IT of every person, Pakistan state has reduced crime rate. Through smart banking such as transforming of money through mobile phones, IT has revolutionized common man life. The innovation of 3 G and 4G IT technology in Pakistan has brought a major revolution in the world of internet. No matter one lives in deserts of Pakistan or the hilly areas via the internet, he can contact world widely. Below are the major developments of Pakistan Information Technology Ministers.
Pakistan likewise other developed countries of the world are using information technology to run the major department of state. This program is known as E-Government initiative of Pakistan government. E-government program was launched in 2000 under the leadership of Atta-ur-Rehman the then minister of information technology.
