Hazrat Usman (R.A) Collected Quranic Verses in one Place
As Holy Quran is mentioned to be the last Holy Book of Allah Almighty, therefore, arranging this book and collecting its verses is the huge responsibility. After the death of Holy Prophet, Hazrat Usman took on with the responsibility to collect all the Quranic verses at one place. However, Hazrat Usman was the closest companion of Holy Prophet and was the future caliph as well. He took the responsibility to preserve the writing of the Holy Quran verses. It done on the written and oral basis. He then impressed the urgency upon Abu Bakr who was the first caliph. Later on, he entrusted the task to Zayd ibn Thabit al-Ansari. He had worked as a scribe of the Prophet.

When the collection was all done, the assistance was being sought about who had memorized the Quran. In this way, the authentic complete version of Holy Quran prepared under the supervision of Hazrat Usman. Hence, it kept in the custody of Hafsah who was a widow of the Holy Prophet and daughter of ‘Umar.
