Difference Between the New and Old Marks Strategy

According to the old marks strategy, students read 7 different subjects out of which 3 subjects are compulsory. The compulsory subjects are English, Urdu, Islamic Studies, and Pak Studies where students read Islamic studies in 1st Year and Pak Studies in 2nd Year. The remaining 4 are the elective subjects that the student chooses. Each subject carries 100 marks for a part and total marks are calculated by combining both part marks and these are 1100.

But now the strategy changed and a new book “Tarjamatul Quran” added to the syllabus that the paper of 50 marks is conducted each year and the combined numbers are 100. And the total marks of inter now become 1200 by adding 100 in previous 1100 marks.
